Software Customization

To address business norms in the industry, Nstein has spent many years perfecting a unique software customization methodology. Its main phases are:

  • Project Definition
Also referred to as the Preliminary Analysis phase, this involves examining the client's needs from business, operational and technological perspectives for the purpose of developing a general understanding of the software application to be developed and establishing initial milestones.
  • Analysis & Design
At this stage, Nstein and the client agree on a precise definition of the work to be executed. Also known as Functional and/or Detailed Specifications, this phase documents the specific needs and requirements of the client and provides a collaborative road map within the final Project Scope for both Nstein's and the client's teams to follow.
  • Development, Test & Acceptance
Based on the Functional and/or Detailed Specifications, the software is then built according to the client's needs. Development and testing go hand in hand, with client approval depending upon acceptance at each stage (until final acceptance is logged).
  • Go live
As the software is now ready for a staging environment, only a few activities need to be completed before deployment at the client's site. These include:
    • Users' and System Administrators' training sessions
    • Installation of components in the staging environment
    • Hand-off to Customer Support Center
