Unlimited number of Web sites

WCM 4 is best suited for organizations producing and managing many Web properties of different types. It supports a granular level of access allowing administrators to specify which users can work and access which Web properties. Users will only be presented with the Web properties and content they have rights to.

Security and permissions

WCM 4 allows for setting read, write and execute permissions explicitly applied to groups and/or users by specific content types. System objects also support the same level of permissions. Users will only have access to functionalities and content types defined in the security configuration.

Back-office language support

WCM 4's back-office comes with 2 languages out-of-the-box: English and French. Additional languages are added by translating the various system resource files. Clients can also customize these language files to match their specific business language.

Scheduled publishing

Content is configured to be published at a date defined by users or automatically according to specific business rules. WCM 4 supports hybrid publication rules allowing editors to specify a query-based content rule for a given section and overwrite specific positions to force content.

Configuration snapshots are saved into a calendar allowing content delivery to be planned way ahead (useful for vacations and holidays).

Comprehensive content organization and navigation

WCM 4 provides multiple ways of organizing content in order to make it easily findable for users and visitors.

Contextual advertising

Multiple pages articles

WCM 4's article model allows you to easily break longer pages into multiple pages for more ad impressions. Each page has its own metadata, associated media and related content.
