Semantic-faceted filtering

When running content through Nstein TME (Text Mining Engine), content is automatically enriched with semantic metadata. This metadata provides the basis for powerful faceted filtering. As a result, users have the exclusive ability to, on-the-fly, apply semantic filters on result sets: subjects, concepts and entities (people, places and organizations).

WCM 4 offers a plethora of possible filters. Put simply, all of the facets of any piece of content can be indexed for search. Nstein has built a large selection of search facets, easily extendable to match clients' most complex requirements.

Advanced query language

While even the most novice editor will benefit from intuitive filters, power users will be thrilled with the back-office search query language.

The native query language synthax is based on Apache Group's Lucene query language. It employs a set of intuitive operators (OR, AND, -, +) and matches the indexes. A query will look something like this: fulltext:("Bush" OR "Obama") AND type:article,photo,newsitem AND subject:~Election. Of course, those complex queries can be saved and reused later.
