International Online Conference

For the second consecutive year, Nstein closed 2002 by repeating its strong showing at the Online Information Conference and Exhibition, held in London, U.K. Nstein was highly visible as a show sponsor and was also featured with a highly praised customer presentation at the conference’s “Technology in Action” showcase. The customer case study was delivered by one of Nstein’s largest customers, the American Psychological Association (APA – 139,000 members worldwide). Linda Beebe, Director of the APA’s research and information database division, PsycINFO, spoke on the subject of how Nstein’s Nserver™ solution assisted the APA to exceed their document processing productivity objectives.

“Our challenge was to find a robust, user-friendly solution that would help our indexers reduce the time it takes to index a record and at the same time integrate seamlessly into our production environment. We value the quality of work that our professional, experienced team of indexers performs — our service depends on them, and disruptions were not an option.” says Linda Beebe. “The customer-vendor relationship is also very important to us, because we’ve built our reputation serving a professional membership that depends on the quality of the materials and services we provide. We have a long-term commitment and investment in our workflow, and we needed to work with a supplier that would treat us as a partner, meeting our evolving needs. Nstein has become such a partner.” concludes Linda Beebe.
