Midi Libre adopts Nstein Web Content Management & Text Mining Engine solutions
2009-02-03
Nstein's WCM and TME solutions are essential for optimizing productivity and creating new sources of revenue.
Montreal, Québec, February 5, 2009 - Nstein Technologies Inc., www.nstein.com (TSX-V: EIN), a leader in digital publishing solutions for newspapers, magazines, and online content providers, announced today that Midi Libre, the principal publication of Groupe Les Journaux du Midi, has decided to deploy Nstein's WCM 4.0 (Web Content Management System) and TME (Text Mining Engine) solutions to leverage the value of its entire web operations. Midi Libre, an existing Nstein client, has just confirmed its confidence in the Canadian software provider by updating its web content tools with the very latest version of Nstein's software, and by integrating text mining for all of its digital content.
Midi Libre is a publication of the Les Journaux du Midi group, French news leader for the Midi region. The press group publishes over 10 specialist portals including Midi Libre l'Indépendant and Centre Presse.
The current economic situation facing the press industry prompted Midi Libre to acquire a Web publication solution that both promoted significant efficiency gains for its editorial team and offered an optimal experience for its readers. The new solution provides Midi Libre's editors with a powerful production tool that helps drive their strategy to rapidly roll out event websites.
"WCM 4.0 enables us to meet our journalists" needs by providing them with a tool designed with them in mind. Determining factors were its intuitive nature, user-friendliness and the fact that it was simple to learn, without technical knowledge," explained Fabrice Boulanger, Director of Information Systems.
Nstein's linguistic solutions mark up newspaper articles so that they can be adapted to multiple categories. "The TME's semantic analysis engine's unique strength is that it enables us to enrich our content and offers our readers contextual, personalized content, thereby encouraging them to spend more time with us", says Fabrice Boulanger. He sees WCM not only as a platform for efficient news publication but also to significantly boost advertising revenues by increasing content consumption and increasing the number of event sites for the region's topical news stories.
"We are delighted that Midi Libre has chosen Nstein to consolidate its on-line presence and leverage the full potential of its web teams. Midi Libre understands that a Web content tool does more than simple on-line publication: it is central to optimizing costs and maximizing online revenues", declared Louis Mousseau, Managing Director Europe, Nstein technologies.
Nstein is the leading provider for some of the most prestigious media companies, in particular: Libération, Groupe Moniteur, La Dépêche, Gesca, Condé Nast, Reed Business Information, Médias Transcontinental and ImpreMedia.
