Michel Lavigne and Pierre Donaldson join the Nstein Technologies Board of Directors

The company welcomes two prominent new directors to its Board of Directors
Montreal, Quebec, July 6, 2006 - Nstein Technologies Inc., ("Nstein") (TSX-V: EIN), a leader in text mining and multilingual information access solutions, confirmed the appointment of Michel Lavigne and Pierre Donaldson (J.L. Albright Venture Partners) as directors of the company.
Michel Lavigne is a director of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and, since June 2005, has been a director and member of audit committees for Quebecor Média Inc., Vidéotron ltée, Sun Media Corporation and Nurun inc. He is also the Chairman of Primary Energy Recycling Corporation and Teraxion Inc. Until May 2005, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton in Montreal, not to mention the Chairman of Grant Thornton Canada. He was also a member of the Board of Governors of Grant Thornton International. Mr. Lavigne is a Fellow of the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec and member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. Mr. Lavigne actively participates in various charitable and cultural organizations.
Pierre Donaldson is Partner at J.L. Albright Venture Partners, an investor in Nstein. Prior to joining the investment fund in 2005, Mr. Donaldson was President and CEO of Bioscrypt Inc., a leader in the biometrics industry. Previously, Mr. Donaldson was Executive Vice-President, Worldwide Operations, for Descartes Systems Group Inc., a provider of business-to-business Internet logistics solutions; Vice-President, Sales and Marketing, of Treasury Services Co., acquired in August 1997 by Oracle Corporation; President and CEO of Virtual Prototypes Inc.; and held various important positions with Dun & Bradstreet Software. He also serves as a director of Mediagrif Interactive Technologies.

Laurent Proulx, Senior Vice-President and Chief Technology Officer of Nstein, has resigned from his position on the company's Board of Directors in order to allow the appointment of Mr. Donaldson. The Board now comprises Nancy Gaudreau, (Solidarity Fund QFL), Jean Bédard (Solidarity Fund QFL), Rainer Busch, Pierre Donaldson, Richard Drouin, Marc Dutil, Mario Girard (Chairman) and Michel Lavigne.
