Applications will be supported by text mining and text analytics

Montreal, Canada, August 9, 2005 - Public Image Monitoring, Customer Satisfaction Monitoring, Early Warning Intelligence, Customer Support (CRM) Issues, Threat Analysis and Media Monitoring are some of the specific applications where cutting-edge multilingual technologies developed by Nstein Technologies Inc. (TSX-V: EIN) can help companies and organizations extract meanings, relationships and facts from text and data mining initiatives and generate alerts. These applications will be supporting the new open Unstructured Information Management Architecture (UIMA) recently announced by IBM for WebSphere® Information Integrator.

Nstein Technologies Inc., a leader in advanced linguistic-based Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, powers the Global Public Health Intelligence Network (GPHIN) used by organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO) to provide early warning alerts for outbreaks of diseases and viruses. Nstein also provides text and data mining technologies to major players in e-publishing.

"The world now trusts our advanced analytics solutions for warnings about outbreaks of diseases and viral infections," said Mario Girard, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Nstein, 'and our advanced analytics are extremely powerful to monitor information from text in many languages, including English, Chinese, Arabic, Farsi, Russian, Spanish and French, and to generate alerts and early warnings".
