Montreal, Quebec, May 30, 2005 - Nstein Technologies Inc.,"Nstein" (TSX-V: EIN), a leader in advanced linguistic-based Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, won the Excellence OCTAS, the highest honour awarded by the Fédération de l'informatique du Québec (FIQ), at the OCTAS 2005 Gala, as well as the technology innovation OCTAS for the Early Warning and Monitoring solution derived from its Global Intelligent Information Management (GIIM) technology platform.
An annual event organized by FIQ since 1987, the OCTAS Gala honours excellence in Quebec's information technology sector. Held in Montreal on May 28, 2005, the OCTAS 2005 Gala, with almost 1000 people in attendance, once more drew the main actors from both the public and private realms of Quebec's IT sector. No fewer than 123 files were submitted to the contest, one of the highest participation rates in the history of the OCTAS. Nstein received the Excellence OCTAS 2005 in recognition of its outstanding contribution, the breadth and potential of its technology, the technology's immediate and future impacts, as well as its innovativeness. The FIQ also gave the Company the OCTAS for technology innovation for its multilingual Early Warning and Monitoring solution based on Nstein's GIIM technology platform, recognizing that it uses the potential of information technology (IT) in original ways to provide solutions to specific issues in managing multilingual information, thus providing the organizations that use it with an important advantage.
