Nstein's e-publisher suite recognized by KMWorld editors as a trend-setter in the field of text mining and unstructured information
Montreal, Quebec, August 22, 2005 - Nstein Technologies Inc., "Nstein" (TSX-V: EIN), a leader in advanced linguistic-based e-publishing solutions, today announced that its e-publisher suite has been selected by leading industry publication KMWorld as part of its "Trend-Setting Products of 2005". The criteria for selection include usability, flexibility, adoption rate, innovation and total cost of ownership. This list was compiled through the publication's discussions with knowledge management practitioners, end-users, editors and the analyst community, and identifies key products that had an impact on the market in the past year.
"As was the case last year, we evaluated more than 200 vendors whose combined offerings top the 1,200 mark. It bears mentioning that these are not the only trend-setting products on the market today; rather, they are the ones upon which our panel agreed. And just what were the criteria for selection" As we have in previous years, we considered usability, flexibility, adoption rate and total cost of ownership. And we also recognized some vendors for their vision or for a collection of offerings, rather than a specific product or compelling new version of an existing one," noted Hugh McKellar, Editor in chief, KMWorld.
"Nstein is honoured to be recognized as a trend-setter among such a prestigious and distinctive list of technology leaders," stated Mr. Mario Girard, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Nstein Technologies. "Our inclusion further validates our position as a leader in the field of text mining and multilingual unstructured information."
In addition to being recognized on the "Trend-Setting Products of 2005" list and KMWorld's "100 Companies that Matter Most in Knowledge Management " list earlier in the year, Nstein has received important industry accolades this year for its award-winning products and corporate achievements. The most recent was by Quebec's IT Federation, which granted Nstein the Excellence Award (the highest honour from Quebec's IT industry) as well as the Technological Innovation Award for its Early Warning Intelligence solutions.
