Nstein Technologies signs an agreement with Alis Technologies for a project with the French Ministry of Defence

Montreal, March 11, 2004 - Nstein Technologies Inc. (TSX-V:EIN), the leader in software solutions for managing and retrieving unstructured information, announced today that it has signed a contract with Alis Technologies within the scope of a project with France's General Delegation for Armaments (DGA - an organization under the auspices of France's Ministry of Defence). The DGA is developing a project for an information portal for which Alis, through Nstein, will provide an expertise in the organization of unstructured information and automatic multilingual categorization. As per the agreement, the financial details regarding the sale have not been disclosed.

The DGA will be able to offer its users access to a multilingual information platform with advanced document search and classification features and a notification feature whereby individual users will be able to access the most recent information available in their selected areas of interest.
