Nstein Creates its Own Technolinguistic Laboratory in Order to Consolidate its Competitive Edge and Accelerate its Technological Development Program

Montreal (Quebec), April 30, 2002 - Mr. Mario Girard, Chairman and CEO of Nstein Technologies Inc. ,"Nstein" (EIN), today announced the Company's decision to create its own technolinguistic laboratory. Initially, this laboratory would be equipped with a team of 15 highly qualified linguists.

"The exclusive Linguistic DNA" technology is the most powerful automated indexing solution available in the world. Much of this achievement can be attributed to the quality of Nstein's linguists. We are taking another step forward by creating our own technolinguistic laboratory. This will give us the framework and infrastructure required to speed up the implementation of our technological development program," stated Mr. Girard.

In addition to setting up this laboratory, in the months to come Nstein also expects to significantly expand its technological development team by recruiting new employees. "Our strategic plan is to consolidate our competitive advantages and develop, on a continual basis and within relatively short time frames, new technological applications that target markets with promising growth outlooks for Nstein," added Mr. Girard.

Furthermore, Nstein has announced it will end its collaboration agreement with the Laboratoire technolinguistique de l'Université Laval. The termination of this agreement, effective immediately, does not involve any form of compensation payment on Nstein's part. In the future, Nstein envisions the possibility of establishing other technological partnership agreements.
