Nstein Builds Top Sales Team With E-Publishing Industry Experts

Boston, Massachusetts, May 30, 2002 - The President and Chief Operating Officer of Nstein Technologies Inc. "Nstein" (TSX Venture Exchange: EIN), Randall Marcinko, and Vice President Sales, Leslie Lees, are pleased to announce at the Society for Scholarly Publishing (SSP) conference that three of the industry's top performers are joining Nstein's global Sales team.

Peter Simon, former Vice President of Strategic Development at Digital Owl, who has also held senior positions at industry heavyweights such as Reed-Elsevier, Thomson, and Lexis-Nexis; Linnea Christiani, past Director of Licensing for Shaman Corporation and Director of Partnerships for the (Thomson) Gale Group; and Stephen Morganstein, former Director Strategic Development for Teragram Corporation, each join Nstein as Directors of New Business Development, effective today. Each will report to Leslie Lees.

They understand our clients on all levels, since they have previously been on the customer side, and know what primary and secondary e-publishers are looking for'to serve their clients most effectively. They will be key assets towards bringing our indexing and cataloguing solution to e-publishers'to enable them to maximize their content value, and ultimately facilitate better search results for users in all sectors."

Peter Simon is a recognized publishing and information industry executive who brings more than 25 years of experience earned at leading media and publishing companies. Prior to holding senior positions at Digital Owl and The Deal LLC, he was Vice President of Content Distribution and Alliances for a business unit of the publishing giant, Thomson Corporation, where he managed relationships with over sixty partners. Simon began his career with Reed-Elsevier PLC Group, where he held several key management positions including Executive Vice President of Business Development and Database Publishing for Reed Reference and Vice President Business Development for a business unit of Lexis-Nexis.
Peter is currently Chairman of the Software & Information Industry Association's (SIIA) Content Division. He has a B.A. in English Literature from City College of New York and an M.S. in Library Science from Columbia University.

Linnea Christiani has more than 15 years experience developing and managing partnerships and products in the e-publishing industry. While Director of Licensing for Shaman Corporation, an IT industry internet subscription service, she successfully negotiated content licenses with publishers and major IT analyst firms, and at the Gale Group she negotiated distribution agreements and managed accounts with major on-line services and web sites. She has developed revenue-generating partnerships with information services such as Dialog, Factiva, Lexis-Nexis, Chemical Abstracts, Northern Light, and others, as well as with enterprise solutions for customers such as IBM, Thomson & Thomson and NSA. Linnea Christiani holds an M.L.I.S. from U.C. Berkeley's Graduate School of Information Management.

Stephen Morganstein brings several years experience in sales, marketing, and strategic business development to his role as Director New Business Development at Nstein. While Director Strategic Development at Teragram Corporation'a linguistics technology, information search, and knowledge management company'Morganstein directed business operations and sales strategy, and negotiated agreements leading towards significant revenue increases for the company. He has worked in the technology industry in e-publishing, on-line infrastructure solutions, e-commerce, and other areas throughout his career, mainly in Business Development and Product Management roles. Stephen Morganstein is an M.B.A. graduate from the John M. Olin School of Business at Washington University, and holds a B.Comm. degree from McGill University.
