Nstein-IBR alliance sets stage to lucrative Enterprise business information market
Montreal (Quebec), October 1, 2001 - Nstein Technologies Inc. "Nstein" (CDNX: EIN), a Montreal-based developer of innovative linguistic intelligence business solutions, announced the sale of its Nmedia ServerTM user license to the Los Angeles-based Interactive Business Research (IBR), a virtual service provider of business research tools and training to the corporate market.
This sale caps a strong finish to Nstein's third quarter, further confirming the company's sales penetration into the US market. This agreement follows Nstein's recent sale of the Nmedia Server license to the American Psychological Association (APA) on September 5th, 2001.
"IBR is building a Research Data Management System (RDMS) that incorporates a suite of new business research tools which enable the end-user to quickly find the right set of data sources and to cost-and-value-compare similar sources to get the best results," stated IBR's CEO, Bill Benjamin. "Computer-Aided Indexing (CAI) is a 'must have' for us. Nstein's solution will enable us to build a faster, more accurate proprietary search solution that delivers the exact information and on-line training requested to the end-user's desktop. Nstein's CAI technology does that better than any other solution we looked at."
"IBR's business model will re-shape the way business research and training are accessed and consumed " in a real time, highly efficient manner", explained Mario Girard, President and CEO of Nstein. "We are extremely pleased to be working on this project with IBR. Through this sale and our OEM agreement, Nstein is poised to expand into the Enterprise business information market, estimated to have 12 million users and annual sales worth approximately $42 billion."
