2000-06-13

Québec City (Canada) - The stockholders of Exploration Boréale Inc. (M-BOR) have approved the transaction that allows Nstein Technologies to effectively take the place of a Boreal subsidiary. The way is now clear for the company to be listed on the Montréal Exchange."

The announcement was made by David E. Allnutt, President and Chief Executive Officer of Nstein Technologies following the stockholder meeting that was held today in Québec City.

This is the latest phase in the process that Nstein, a leading provider of linguistic intelligence tools for the Internet, has been following in order to be listed on the Montréal Exchange.

"The exact date of our listing will be determined over the next few days", said David Allnutt, adding that Nstein Technologies is looking forward to the day when the company's symbol, EIN, takes its place alongside the other businesses trading on the Montréal Exchange, with enthusiasm and pride."

Over the past several months Nstein has been strengthening its business, procuring private capital from a variety of Canadian and international investors. The additional capital made available by going public will allow the company to turbocharge its sales and marketing efforts in the enterprise marketplace.

Created in February 2000, Nstein Technologies is an Internet company offering a range of artificial linguistic intelligence applications. The applications assist in the research and analysis of news and information available from proprietary news sources, as well as from the Internet generally.

The technology developed by Nstein is able to read and extract concepts contained in a given text. Concretely, the technology reads, understands, summarizes and categorizes data, news and information.

The practical applications of this technology are numerous and varied. For example, linguistic computer processing will allow improvement of the following products: technology-push of news delivery, search engines, wireless, dynamic indexation of large general databases (Web) or specialized information management on large business intranets, etc.
